Nicki Berger
Cartoonist Extrordinaire
Born and raised in the (barely) liveable swamp of Florida, Nick (she/her) has been drawing since she was a toddler. It didn't take long for her to figure out she wanted to make comics. Her gender-fuckery and general gayness has inspired them to make their comics explore themes of acceptance, political reform, self-discovery, and dismantling of binaries. As of 2020, Nick has created 3 webcomics (Ketchup & Mustard, Ghosts, and Blacksand Blues), co-created 1 (High Wasted Shorts), made and sold a mini-comic (Muttman), organized a sci-fi/horror zine (Panicverse), and contributed to more (ex: Sonic Heaven 2: Adventure Battle, Transheartszine). Her art has been published in Volume V of the student-led Blacklist Journal in the June 2020 issue of the monthly magazine Indiepocalypse. She is currently working on an all-ages comic called The Princess & The Rock.
